#Reverb11’s Last Minute Listings!

If you happened to have been signed up for Reverb11, then you probably got the email from Gwen Bell last night announcing that the official group was canceled. Considering this was supposed to start tomorrow, you can imagine how much this sucks. Fortunately, there are a lot of really cool people in the Reverb community, and there are already groups popping up and creating new lists on there own.

It would have been nice if she had let us know, oh, a month ago that she wasn’t going to be doing it this year so we could have unified as a community a bit better, but I am actually looking forward to the variety of prompts that will come from the multiple lists popping up. I might even put together a few myself, just to have around, in case.

In the meantime, if you would like to get signed up, now is your chance. Geekin’ Hard has put together a list, and is actively working to link to any of the others that pop up here. Please go and sign up for one or all of them.

Remember, post your responses on twitter using the #REVERB11 tag! Don’t forget to check out other bloggers responses. It is a great way to meet amazing people, find great blogs to read, and if that sort of thing matters to you, massively increase your traffic from just your mom to lots of people across the net.

I even made myself a little badge to go along with all the fun.

R11I’m not entirely sure why a bald monk needed to be orange in my head, but it made sense at the time.

If you like it, you can use it, too.

Have fun, and hit me up on twitter (@MABrotherton) with a link to your #Reverb11 blog posts.

I’ve been looking forward to this pretty much since the end of #Reverb10.

Meeee, too!  Reverb10 gave me the gift of some ridiculously creative people to follow & hang with.  You are one of my presents!   Can’t wait to see what we all cook up this year1

I’m pretty pissed that she chose this way to go about it. I’m really hoping some kind of beauty comes out of the chaos because Ms. Bell really did pull a bit of a dick move here. Thank goodness for creative and willing individuals.

I kind of saw it coming, and had spent the last couple of weeks going, “Well, if we get screwed, I’ll just do it my self.”

      Now I don’t have to. 🙂

A wonderful group mind + reverb connection is emerging from this. I’m sending out prompts over here: http://bit.ly/sJsJjl

I think I’m way mot excited for how we’re rallying together as a community anyhow. Shows you can’t stop the creative heart that grows.

I KNOW! I’m incredibly proud of the Reverb community, and I’m secretly dancing the river dance in excitement to be part of it.
