#Reverb10 – Are you a beautifully different weirdo? I am.

Prompt: Beautifully different. Think about what makes you different and what you do that lights people up. Reflect on all the things that make you different – you’ll find they’re what make you beautiful.

I’ve always known that I was a little different. I’ve prided myself for years in being called odd or weird. I prefer to think of myself as a geeky eccentric. I think part of it has to do with the fact that I don’t really have an internal censor, that little voice that tells you, “You probably shouldn’t say that out loud.” It makes me come off as a bit weird, and the often times non-sequitur of my thoughts makes it seem like my mind is out in the middle of no where, which in all reality there is a high chance of. All together, the natural glibness combined with sometimes insensitive opinions, has left me with my foot in my mouth several times over the years, but it also gives me exactly what I need to be a blogger.

Secretly, my ideal situation in life would be to be declared the Emperor of the World. That probably won’t happen until well after we’re all rocking shiney new robot bodies. (I happen to know a few people in the robot body industry.) Since it’ll probably be a long time until the fission generators needed to power the eye lasers on the robot bodies are ready for the Global Domination Wars, I’ll content myself to just spread my views and opinions to my own little self subsidized corner of the internet.
