Day 22 – A Song You Listen To When You’re Sad

There is a band that I love that fills just about every song they sing with so much joyous sorrow that it is impossible to think of them as anything other than a little sad. I think they wrote the absolute anthem of sadness, to boot.

Of course I am talking about REM and their song “Everybody Hurts”

I dare you, try not to feel bad now. It’s okay, everybody hurts, especially when they hear this song.

I’ll give you a pallet cleanser to help you out of that funk. I mean, who doesn’t like cold beverages? yeah?

Come on, if G. Love is the opposite of REM, I don’t know what is.
