2012 – 100 Drawing Challenge 007 – Heaven

Drawing - Matt stands before a giant monitor covered in icons for every form of entertainment ever.

Day #7 for the 100 Drawing Challenge!

“The digital revolution really streamlined how you interact with the hereafter. They have everything… except Disney Channel… that’s not allowed in heaven.”

Seeking Solace Response

Also, I got a lot of really positive reaction to the “Seeking Solace” prompt from Saturday, and have made a full color version of it.

There has been some interest expressed in purchasing prints of this picture, and I wanted to share the cleaned up version with the world and check to see if there is any real interest in that before I take it any farther.

Please let me know in the comments below if you’d be interested in that, and I will start looking at what I need to do to make that happen.

I currently have no idea how I would go about doing that, at the moment, but I’d very much be willing to at least look into, provided there was any actual interest in it.

Don’t forget, I do take commission pieces, too.

You can contact me by email (mbrotherton@gmail.com) if you’re interested, and we’ll talk details.

In the meantime, I hope you continue to enjoy the 100 Drawing Challenge and the rest of the daily doodles.

Also, for anyone curious, I am drawing these in my Ecosystems Life “Architect” Journal, using a combination of cheap mechanical pencils and sharpie pens, when I ink them.

Coloring is done with either sharpie pens or GIMP.

Update: As part of my 2018 Better Nerd Project, I have started streaming myself drawing every weeknight on Twitch. I decided to redo the 100 Drawing Challenge to get back in the habit.

Check out the 2018 100 Drawing Challenge to see how I’ve grown as an artist.

Shipping to Europe might be steep. What size would you be interested in?

I’m interested for sure, Matt. Sorry took so long to comment.
