#DailyDoodle – 100 Creatures 18 – Brownie

BrownieI’ve never understood why more artists never depicted Brownies as being more murine in nature. They sure seem to act like mice in the folklore. They live in the unused parts of a house, inside the walls, attics and basements. They eat honey and bread. They reproduce by the trillions.

They get eaten by cats.

Physically, they’re referred to as being the same size as mice.

Obviously, brownies are micemen.

Or there was something in the bread back in the day that caused hallucinations.

Another explanation was that this whole thing was an excuse for me to use the word “Murine.”

The world may never know for sure.
