I’ll be honest. This doodle isn’t so much a doodle as an attempt practicing this GimpUsers.Com Tutorial. I’ve got some work to do on the Eldaraenth website, and I want it to look awesome when I’m done, so I’m teaching myself some new effects, like creating aged or burned parchment. I added the outline to this because I thought it would look better, but have since decided against it. I also do think that the Ink Blur effect I was playing with came out right at all, and I will probably look into getting my hands on a handwritten font from Google Web Fonts (all of which are licensed as public domain).
I might see if I can get my hands on a tutorial to cover that effect, too.
