I am from Missouri. Fortunately for me, I live in the Kansas City area, and have lived my life relatively free of the colossal death winds that all Midwesterners know will one day take us. I have been lucky, however, 150 miles south of me, in Joplin, they have not.
Sunday evening, a Tornado destroyed roughly 25% of the entire city. It destroyed businesses, homes, and even the hospital.
There are thousands of people in desperate need of help, especially in the form of food, water, and medical treatment.
Missouri is the Show-Me State. Today, I’m asking you to show us your support.
Please, help support the Joplin Relief Fund by texting “Joplin” to 864833, and for more information on how you can help, or get a hold of loved-ones in the area, follow Joplin, MO Tornado Recovery on Facebook.
If you have any links to information on donating or volunteering that you would like to share, please comment and I’ll add them here.
Thank You.
